To truly make the most of your valentine dinner with your SO (significant other), you will need to get a bit more creative than simply ordering something form your favorite takeaway restaurant.
Everyday is valentine and you can choose to set up romantic eating experiences with your SO as often as you please.
However, here are some tips to make your Valentine Day’s romantic dinner truly romantic.
Add touches of elegance to your table setting with the use of quality table cloths, napkin folding, beautiful cutlery and dishes. Don’t forget to bring out your best glass and stemware. Finish off with a sprinkle of red rose petals. Get napkin folding

Transform the ambiance of your home by adding scented candles or sticks to the table setting, bedroom and living area. For a truly romantic evening, you might want to send the children off to a relative’s, or occupy them with children’s television all evening. What often works very well for my boys is to finally allow them to knock themselves out with some selected video games.
The best scents to create a romantic and sexy ambiance are sandalwood, jasmine, vanilla, or ylang-ylang aromatherapy oils. If you are moving the experience into ‘the other room’, you can add a dash of these aromatherapy scents to massage oil and make your SO feel truly appreciated.
Keep the menu romantic as well. Remember to add sexy aphrodisiac items such as chocolate, watermelon, ginger, strawberries, or even fig. You can add these ingredients to your drinks, appetiser or dessert. You can also pop a bottle of champagne to make the most of the strawberries and set the mood for the rest of the evening.
Choose the right music and dim the lights in the room, leaving just enough lighting for the dining experience. Certain types of music have a unique way of ensuring that your romantic dinner is nothing but that. Make sure the music is kept at a low volume so that you can enjoy some conversation and relax in each others’ company as well. Everyone has their own taste in music so it would help to know what kind of music your SO likes so that they feel truly special at the thought of you having paid attention to the details.
Finally, dress the part. Whip out your sexiest outfit, let your hair down and go a step further in the makeup routine. High heels are extremely welcome. And don’t forget to practice your sexy walk before hand. Marching around like a soldier or waddling like a duck is not going to suit the sexy ambiance you just worked on.
So, make sure you do work those sexy moves you have always wanted to do for his eyes only. And do add a permanent smile on your face for the entire evening. It will add to your mystery and make him wonder what you have up your sleeves and in the bedroom.
